Hi there! My name is Leslie Wang and I’m happy you’ve stumbled across my blog.
Who was I?
Well, before February 2016, I was a dedicated engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation for over 11 years. I spent majority of my career working on a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle designed to take off and land on an aircraft carrier. One of the happiest days of my life was when this milestone was achieved. I worked with some of the most dedicated smart men and women in the industry to make this historical moment possible.
After this achievement, I transitioned into Proposals and also some Program Management. I could have spent the rest of my career at Northrop Grumman but found that I needed to take a break from work to focus on ME. I needed some time to have a personal life. aka- a sabbatical time.
Who am I?
Some could say that I am a crazy cat lady. I appreciate a good looking cat when I see it. Most of my instagram feed contains countless images of adorable cats. But most people will agree when I say that I am someone who loves the water and exploration. I’ve always enjoyed scuba diving and traveling, so I decided my sabbatical will be a little bit of both. I’ll take the time to get better at diving and when I’m not diving, I’ll take advantage of traveling.
